It's not semantics. They've had 2 years (more if you count pre-v1 development) to make a working game. I don't know what you think a game is made up of but software isn't made from scratch every time something new comes out. They may have re-coded some of the core gameplay systems but basic networking code should have been relatively untouched. So why is it that they have broken code that has existed for over 2 years? That's not semantics, you're just fanboying instead of accepting the reality of the situation. I know it comes as a shock, but you can criticize a company and still enjoy their product. Stop making excuses. This is *not* like every launch ever. In fact, this would best be compared to GW2 as most of their networking code is most likely pulled from GW1. Same queue system, same overflow system, same server set up. And guess what, it didn't suddenly break when they made GW2.
