Beta has come and gone, and it had some issues, but it was beta.
Early access has come and gone, and yes it had some issues. I can overlook that as well.
As of today August 27th, I am now what I consider a paying customer. I bought the game. I input CC information into the terrible account management system.
Yes the service comes with a free 30 day period, but I paid for that when I bought the game.
I can not use the service, and I am feeling that this is wrong, and it is.
If my telephone stopped working it wold be expected that I would contact support and they would repair the service. They might even tell me I have to wait until the next day. They might even offer compensation. They certainly would not ignore me and not communicate with me.
If my cable went out.... you get the point.
We are all now paying customers for a service that does not yet work, and we are frustrated, and we have the right to let our opinions be known.
I appreciate the freebies, beta was good fun, and early access was a blast.
Official launch has come and gone and I expect I should be able to sit down and use the service I am paying for.
You have a right to your opinion, and if your opinion is similar to mine then speak up and let it be known. You may choose to keep quiet knowing the issues will be resolved eventually, and perhaps they will offer compensation for the failure in the service you are paying for. Maybe you will say something on these forums that they probably don't read and it will feel good just getting it off your chest. More likely it will just spurn a flame war.
I am paying for a service I can not use and I want SE to know I am not happy about it.
