    I have also tried everything I can to get this working and it keeps spitting an EU code at me. Support seems to think I need to check my junk folder.... I already received the email with the wrong code genius. Darktimelordx has a point. The 1.0 early release was WAY smoother than this. Can the moderators please get on the horn with somebody that can actually help us? Please give us a detailed explanation about what is wrong and how to fix it, or just fix it on your end....for real this time. If one more person tells me to check my junk folder I'm going to lose it.

    The 20 digit codes are region locked and have to match the region of your account. All EU codes start with RAAE and all NA codes start with RAAU. If your account region is wrong I assume you will need to contact them and get it fixed. Posting here isn't going to do that.

    This is honestly pretty poor if they're cancelling tickets instead of responding to them. That, to me, says that they're deliberately robbing you of your money.

    I now have like 20 emails from SE containing the same damn useless code. What's interesting though is not all of them are exactly identical. A couple had a grammar slip, one used a violet font color. one came from noreply@xmail.square-enix.com while the rest from noreply@xmail.eu.square-enix.com. one had no (PS3) written next to the code. some had a California address at the bottom and the rest a London address. Yeah I'm pretty bored and unfortunately the one I'd want to see changed remains the same.

    Well I am aware of that, the issue is they apparently don't want to let people change account regions, which is what the issue for a lot of people, on top of the others straight up being given codes for the wrong region.

    It's a bit soon to be jumping to "THEY'RE ROBBING US", but yes cancelling them is not great, hopefully that just means they're trying to do something about it and we simply have to wait.

    I am okay with waiting as long as I know progress is being made.

    I finally chatted with live support, who asked a lot of questions, my id, my 18 code, my 20 code, etc, then finally just said, "Thank you for the information. This is a known issue we are doing our best to fix. Our goal is to have everyone playing by the 24th. Please keep an eye on the FFXIV site and twitter page for any updates."

    edit: they did ask which sqex id i wanted the early access applied to before saying it's a known issue... so perhaps if they dont fix it, they'll have a manual application or something...

    If it's an EU code, it should start with RAAE. If it's a NA code, it starts with an RAAU. I have an EU RAAE code for PC. If you have an RAAU code, I'll trade you - that should solve the issue really.

    They all just started coming in a few hours ago with timestamps from yesterday. And I think if you try the code again now, you get an email right away, (I just got one a few minutes after my last try) so it seems like the server load issue has been fixed. But our codes are not and it's not even mentioned on the preorder page which is now being updated regularly with a message in red text.
