Infos on the Real game Direction? WHEN?!

Problem is if they release that type of info although the NA community might just take it lightly with grain of salt, JP community on the other hand could go all out on it if SE doesn't finish the way they said they would even if it's 'still in the works' status. I don't think SE wants to get into that hell hole just yet. They really need to be careful on what information to release at what timing to get this working.

since november till now SE has released either videos or letters from the producer at a steady rate, not to mention the constant posts from the site's moderators.
people also seem to forget that ARR is being released with the intent to bring in new players, and as such when it launches it will allow sufficient time for newer players to catch up to the veterans. So the content will come in steadily after the ARR release so that there are enough level appropriate players to participate in said content, such as pvp and end game raids.

Again, i'm not asking for detailed things that could change, but i'd like to know the basic foundations...

Saying how many partecipant or how will be structured the PvP for example (world vs world, guild vs guild), need tweaks?

It seems like you're really into the idea of PVP so idk, maybe you would like other games better. /shrug

With all due respect, we already know the core system for the most part. Global cooldowns, no restrictions on the number of classes, teleports without anima, 3 starting nations 5 difference races with 2 genders and subraces each... the list goes on. We happen to already know the core system that many outsiders still aren't aware of.

Wait.. I totally missed that. So what, all teleports are free now? When did this happen!?!

I said many times before that i don't care for PvP , but i care for the success of the game, and nowadays, a game without a good PvP will not be succesfull... (expecially if it will be absent at the release... )

Impressive. But I was speaking of those who were complaining and didn't have the game yet. I just got the game for Christmas myself. And I'm not even halfway done with the quests that come with the friggin game, not to mention the quests you can mod into the game. Plus I have way too much else to do in the day. My daily plate is full, lol.

Maybe I am naive but I tend to disagree. I think we are a different breed. I don't think we have to have everything the other games have to be successful. I don't believe that PVP is a make-or-break deal for (at least current) XIV'ers.

That being said, Yoshi said we will have PVP, he said he likes PVP. I think that's enough for now. New people starting on the new worlds will have plenty to do before they have a "need" to introduce it. jmo

(sorry I missed that you don't care for pvp, I just saw you mention it alot) I could care less if it comes and can't imagine myself ever participating, but as with many things, just because I don't care for it doesn't mean it shouldn't exist
