Infos on the Real game Direction? WHEN?!

And again, today we got the same letter that says to wait without any real info on the game.

I'd like to know when the real infos will be out...

Scoops like Behemoth skin for the chocobo, pet, music, and 3d models are nice..

But it's time to know the real infos on what we will have at release, i'm not asking to know everything, but i want to know, wich will be the BASIC foundations of the game? These are supposed to be the first infos to give when an MMO is announced imho.


Wich direction will take the game?


How PvE endgame will be structured? Hard modes switch? Big raids like Crystal tower and Bahamut labyrinth will be also for 16 - 8 men party? (Any other mmo gives a partecipant switch on raids, 24+ men instanced content are dieing in WoW too, people prefer 10 ppl max party, while the large scale open PvE like dynamic events/ Boss is ok for 25+ ppl). Ranking ? Info on summoning system? Job system revamp? Characters customization like builds, specs ?(one of the greatest XIV problem is the characters clones.. 0 customization... )

How about PvP? How it will be structured?
How many partecipant? it will be a realm vs realm? ranking? castles to conquest? Vehicles?

We are in almost beta, and we still don't know anything, oh nvm, we got ONE artwork!

Oh and in Beta 4 (so just right before the release) there will be the coliseum testing...
But.. Frontlines??! They will not be released at day1 i suppose... but the testing? PvP requires a lot of testing and balance, maybe more than PvE ... Meh, i'm not a PvP man, but i'm still worried.

Also for both PvE and PvP , confirmation about a PTR server? (I don't want to see Garuda bugs again like overkill or shooting from behind the rocks...)

Also i'm worried on a lot of announced things not present at release..
Housing? Shortly after the release! Frontlines? *wind sound* Chocobo raising and customization? Not at release. Shiva? Same. Vanity slot feature? Not at release.. and the list would be much longer.. I really don't know what to expect at release so..

I think it's about time for these informations, what do you think guys?

I'm so excited for this game and I believe Yoshi-p is doing a hell of a job, but I cant argue with what you are saying either. Hope that there is a lot of info next week when he travels down here. I don't think screenshots are gonna be enough for the media.

I don't think they can release any PvP info before they have finished development of the battle system in general ^_^
Since there seemed to be a lot of criticism about GCD and such; things are probably still being tweaked and will still be tweaked well into Beta

Why would they give any info on what's not finalized?
They've been criticized enough about things that they said would exist and did not in the end, we're still not even within beta, which is a time wherein things are still very mercurial.

Do you see when they plan to lift the NDA? That's when we'll hear information about the actual game direction. Because after taking in our feedback, that's when they'll see what they really, really want to do, no takebacks.

No. Things are obviously still being tweaked, something we should all be happy about. If they had final details that they could share with us on everything you mentioned before we've even gone into beta phase 1, I'd be really worried. Chill out, the beta phases start soon.

Guys, even if their job is not finished yet, they had already planned it. They have ideas and information about how A Realm Reborn will look. Releasing 500x300 screenshots for sure it's not a good way to keep us calm! :P
