"Human Race" is a nice way of saying Human Species. "Human Race" means you include all the races of the Human species. Human is not a race but a collection of races that form one species.

"This development will change the Miqo'te race" = "This development will change the Seekers of the Sun and Keepers of the Moon." It should be "This development will change the Miqo'te Species".
