I want to give encouragement to our FFXIV Team and toss an [item=3020201]elixir[/item] Yoshi-P's way in the form of compliments from many, likely non-FFXIV, gamers. Their hard work during these past two years is beginning to pay off, turning what was an outright rejection of FFXIV by many into interest, excitement, and desire to play.

Judging by these reactions, which range from comments on music, art direction, graphics, speed of combat, and overall gameplay, the FFXIV Team is certainly doing the right things in their attempts to capture and present the essence of Final Fantasy, all the while trying to meet the demands of a modern MMO. Here's to 2013, and A Realm Reborn. I personally hope it will be a blockbuster year for FFXIV :]

Yeah the positive buzz is definitely vibing everywhere. I have friends on FB now that bug me every so often asking if there's been any new information on release or how to get into beta. Some are new to XIV altogether, some quit early on after the failed launch.

It's definitely a promising feeling.

This is all i found after reading so much trollin in this forums about the internetz dripping bad press towards FFXIV:ARR...lol ohh how wrong they are XD! bad comments towards the game only come from within this forum ..specifically the loud minority with FFXI rosey nostalgia goggles.

I keep seeing comments on the other gaming websites with people complaining, "I won't play the game unless it's F2P. I won't pay for it." I keep saying to myself, "Well tough luck."

People expect every MMO to be "F2P" or they won't play... well When you have a " High-Quality" game with awesome Graphics, Music, 3 Major Storylines ( big) etc etc.. I wouldn't want the game to be F2P... is it that hard to pay 10-15 bucks a month for an awesome game? ( Let's all hope it's awesome anyways ).

The most popular game brands sell their games at full retail price cost of 40-60$ and its hard to find a good game that gives you 40 hours of gameplay ...for legacy members thats around 6 months of gameplay ...and with Yoshi-P's new engine they can create new content monthly if they feel like it and add it faster to the game .

FFXIV:ARR will be worth the monthly fee and then some ..

Yeah a few of my friends and family saw the dungeon trailer and are now wanting to play. They said the game looks like Final Fantasy, so I guess that's a good thing haha.
