    Also although FATE doesn't require parties fighting a FATE solo is crazy and parties are useful for revs and to teleport to the next fate when you're low on anima...

    I have to agree with char here they can make an world that you still explore and see every inch of it w/o forcing it down peoples throats. Even in XI they realized that taking slow ass boats and airships everywhere was not ideal in WotG you could warp to many places but you still had to take the time to go to a lot of places because all the content was not @ the spawn point of the teleports.

    It's the devs fault if every content in the game is simply at the teleport destination and not spread out through the world XI did it right and they can do it right here too.

    Top of that FATE is just a random thing to do it's not the main point of the game. Rift have a system just like FATE which i bet is the idea SE got it from pretty much you can solo it or two man it each rift have it own level and element.

    FATE system is something you do while questing a FATE start around your area you stop doing your quest do that real quick and return back to questing that how i see the system turning out to be just other behest type thing.

    So I'll sum it what why the current anima system should be kept:
    anima can be regenerated so casual players usually have a lot
    anima can be earned so noncasual players can earn back all anima so they have plenty for FATEs
    it promotes taking in the environment
    it promotes use of ferry and airship and mounts
    it promotes hamlet to some extent

    I think I read that Hamlet is going to be an event more like FATE so your average player has a better chance of getting seals, so that might not have been true. This is referring to the ability to recharge anima.

    If they decide to use gil to pay for your teleports it would be a way to remove gil from the economy, although alot of people won't like it.

    if ppl like chocobo and airship, then by all means dont teleport every 5secs like i would, its a win win solution. You get mine, i get yyours. But why force me to also micromanage my anima too for your own idealism?

    Also starlord, i'd suggest playing something like gw2 to grasp what dynamic event is about, to make the world seems alive, events dont just rrandomly happens, its a series of chain events.

    Example, how does a raid to ixalis HQ by twin adder armies happens?
    It might starts with gathering supplies for the armies in 2 different hamlet, which means 2 FATe is happening at same time.

    It will starts 3 mini FATE in 3 different areas in black shroud to overtake outposts. This means there will be 3 FATE tthat will eends at seperate time, the longer each one took, the longer main HQ raid will happens. This travelling time will each adds uup to the delay.

    After outposts, you would need to clear and escort each commander from 3 outposts to ixali HQ, then inside the HQ you might nneed to ssecure 2 differrnt parts of ixxali HQ to raise your banner before everyone come together tto beat last boss


    this chain events effect one another and you cant have static starttime because a second slower somewhere, you are slowing down everyone else.

    Thats only a problem if you are low on anima... But if you are a casual player you wouldn't be low on anima since it regens and if you aren't a casual player you should be doing hamlets so you wouldn't have to worry about being low on anima...

    Some people don't have forever and a day to wander the landscapes while trying to link up with a party for a dungeon run. Geez. I don't see why people are so opposed to more options that have little to no effect on their game experience.
