Maybe you simply shouldn't make assumptions you can't really make and second guess other people's motives when you don't know them, given that they don't impact you in any way.Right, but is that truly where the passion is? I get wanting to test. I do it and have done it for many games. I'm directing this more toward those who don't have testing in mind and look to this as an early preview of things to come. Which, let's face it, tester focused or not everyone has in mind anyway and is undeniably a driving force.
Grey man speaks words of wisdom.Well, I can't speak for everyone, but I've spent 2 years playing and observing this games development and we're at a crucial stage. Being that I'm not on the front line helping square as directly as I could, tears me up. The fact that the game's unfinished or not very fun means I get to have input on helping to guide it to be finished and fun.
I don't know why someone would want to play it for a preview beyond getting a quick feel for the direction of the completed game. Maybe a peek at the new world design, the new lore, you know, the deeply developed things that probably won't be changed. But I can't say I see anyone who's clamoring for that kind of introduction to ARR around here at least.
