Man gamers have gotten soft over the decade. I for one loved FFXI's hard descriptions for quests and details to figuring it out. But unfortunately that's in the past, with those days seeming to be over, for now.

So what if ARR has the random side quests and leves. Its just like a mmo should have. If you all were to get exp mainly through pug parties, like in FFXI, guess what? All of you would still be complaining. So what if the quests shown on the map, are seen by a circular marking. Some people are just that dumb and they need hand holding. The main quest too will probably have the highlighted indication on the map as well.. so it doesn't bother me regardless.

Stop cutting this game short, because of simplicity of some areas. if 1.0 is any indication we will have our challenges. The real battle system isn't even shown. Has everyone forgot about combos and limit breaks.

Animations are, again, not even put in yet. The dash run (video#5) looks horrid, as your character doesn't even lean their upper body forward, to show an increase in movement. Hopefully dev team hasn't overlooked this while they are finishing the animations.

Its all about the challenge and the journey through an mmo. As long as the quests & Fate get harder as you scale up and the advanced battle mechanics are seen, then it will be all good.

You all need to stay focus and not whine / b#@% so much about an alpha build... sheesh
