Global Alpha Test Start Date

Below is a message from Yoshi-P in regards to the Alpha Test. When you have a moment be sure to check it out (it's quite long!)

Thanks for the info Camate. Hopefully with the further rounds of invites SE will keep to the rules they set themselves, and let in people that had an active account before those that just signed out for the alpha after quitting the game on the first month.

If you don't want to follow a criteria, don't publicly set it. And if you find yourself in the position to have to change your mind, communicate it promptly. Transparency and communication are always the key.

Looking at the opposite side of the issue, I have friends that tried to sign up to the alpha as soon as the form was up and were denied. Of course they didn't retry later, because they had no idea that they had been allowed to in the meanwhile.

That said, I'll always be amazed to see those that are so eager and ready to antagonize those that have issues with how this has been handled, second guessing their motives and personally attacking them.

Actually, scratch that. I'm not really amazed, nor I am surprised, as it always happens when alphas/betas are concerned.
People are always ready to unduly paint others as "whiners" and such when their position is secure.

It's funny, because it's almost guaranteed that if they didn't receive an invite, they'd be raging just as much (or more) themselves.

People love to personally attack anyone and anything they post for any reason, even if they claim they don't do as such.
