1: it's always a bad thing when paying customers are fed incorrect information. It's also quite problematic if the press picks it up.

2: Paying customers should always get first dibs over freeloaders. It's a very basic concept of customer satisfaction. Going against it sets a bad precedent.

3: It's statistically very safe to assume that those that are passionate about this game enough to keep paying a monthly fee will test it a lot more throughly than someone that abandoned it mid way. Testing a game that, as you said, includes all the problems endemic of an unfinished products is majorly a matter of passion and dedication, which are pretty necessary not to get frustrated after the first few bugs and ragequit. Those that didn't have an active account already demonstrated to be lacking in that department.



All SE has to do is to deny the allegation, isn't it? They did not, while they had plenty chances to.

Where is this proof that inactives got in other than "other peoples" word? Do you have any? Would be so kind as to show me this proof?

In absence of an official denial, there's plenty reason to believe multiple reports, especially when corroborated by the fact that applying for the alpha with an inactive account is proved to work now, when it previously didn't.

As for me, before I disbelieve a long standing member of this forum and the many others in the thread that confirm what he says (that could be banned if the information he posts proves to be false, as per rules, and guess what, they're not banned), I'll wait for contrary evidence.

How is the proof again? Other people words? I can say I get in the Alpha right now does that mean I got in? Nope not by a long shot. ( and I really didn't get in).

As soon as you give me an "actual" link that has Proof "outside" of the forums, that state that "other people got in. Then I will admit your right on that aspect. However, I will not agree that you should have a blockbuster party that Other people that have a fair shot at getting in. ( I'm in the same boat as you are Legacy player Active account and so on) and I'm not kicking peoples Gonads over it.

Extraordinary claims need extraordinary evidence.
