But why? Alpha testers have a different forum than us - it was stated awhile ago. What benefits will knowledge of a previous forum do towards the testing of an alpha version of what is at the core a different game?

Read the latest players poll the majority of players do not post on the forums, we are the minority, so by your logic the majority of players should be excluded because they don't wanna post here.

Yes i know, but i think that people that generally use the forum or at least check it will guarantee that later on the alpha will use the forum to post bugs, etc.

Maybe SE don't want people that use FFXIV forum because will say something about the alpha? xD
