But why? Alpha testers have a different forum than us - it was stated awhile ago. What benefits will knowledge of a previous forum do towards the testing of an alpha version of what is at the core a different game?
Yes i know, but i think that people that generally use the forum or at least check it will guarantee that later on the alpha will use the forum to post bugs, etc.Read the latest players poll the majority of players do not post on the forums, we are the minority, so by your logic the majority of players should be excluded because they don't wanna post here.
Maybe SE don't want people that use FFXIV forum because will say something about the alpha? xD
Couldn't have said it better myself.
Funny thing is, if us forum posters are such a minority in the player base, they could have very easily saved themselves a lot of trouble by inviting everyone who ever got involved in the forums.
Yes, even Rokien.

I'd assume Faiyez is referring to the idea that if you've participated in playing 1.xx for the past two years knowing full well that 2.0 is on the horizon and SE needs/wants/has been asking for feedback the entire time, yet you have never once visited/posted on their forums to do so... what makes you think their suddenly going to get all chatty now? Not saying I necessarily agree with that, but I can at least follow the logic.
