remember when i said "galka and roegadyn are considered rare by race standards in FF MMOs" in that thing you quoted but apparently didn't read? yes, genius. more than 4 people play them. that's an exaggeration for effect. and the fact that LITERALLY more than 4 people play them doesn't detract from them being exponentially more rare than the other races.

try to tell me i'm wrong about that. i dare you. but first you may want to browse the forums a little more to get a better idea of who's playing what.

i would leave it up to you to figure out why that's important, but since you apparently don't possess the ability to logically deduce or make realistic observations outside of the realm of your own petty personal biases-

it's important because anime characters are pretty or cute. characters in FF MMOs are pretty or cute. so it follows that the most popular races will be the ones that are pretty or cute.

A graph from 2010 and a stat tracking website that states "statistics are based off of 49,774 characters", yet when all the characters are added up there are only 15,813? What about the other 34,000? That is a lot of play, not sure if that could be counted as a reliable source. Guesstimation at best.

At best it could show a trend, but trends change from time to time. Especially when you take the beautiful unique snowflakes into consideration.

This side-topic has detracted from the main, intended one long enough. And yes, I've contributed to that as well, so I'm partially to blame. So, going forward, if you want to go on basking in your self-declared rightness, by all means do so. But do so in another thread, or on your own somewhere.

In the meantime, please either contribute meaningfully to the thread, by offering up your own creative suggestions on the topic, offer some different ideas for a new race, or move along and stop trolling this thread.

In FFXIV Elezen females are rarer than Roes yet they are not "ugly".
In GW2 Norn females are rarer than Charr yet they are not "ugly".

So we could conclude that MMO gamers are scared of strong women and "nobody" will play female Roes...
