Disagree that the invisible force is not realistic/believable. If there was an invisible force above a tent preventing me from jumping on it, I wouldn't consider that immersion-breaking, I'd consider that all characters automatically understood that would be a dumb thing to do in context, in exactly the same way we can't tear up grass with our bare hands, wield a chair in battle or ride on each others' shoulders.
Standing on a tent isn't relevant to a group of adventurers, so why is the option even there?
I'd say adventurers are quite open to dumb ideas. Jumping on tents seems quite tame.
