Making a Lalafell isn't relevant to me, so why is the option even there?

What if my one wish in life is to create armor while atop a tent? WHY YOU GOTTA KEEP ME DOWN?

Seriously though, a lot of people seem to get "I dislike something" with "THIS IS THE WORST THING EVER OMG CHANGE IT!" mixed up on these forums. Like, really think about it...how much would the entire game (not just your personal experience) be hurt by allowing players to stand on a tent? We can stand on a fence, or boxes...is that fine? Why is this such a big deal? Realism? Last time I checked, nothing in this game was real, so that's a poor excuse.

It's ok to admit you just don't like something, there are quite a few things about this game I dislike...but I don't demand they be changed because I happen to not like them, I suck it up and deal with it. Now...if standing on a tent somehow manages to spawn free relics, or cause instant wins on dungeons, then yes...I could see it being a problem. Unless I'm mistaken, this has nothing to do with gameplay, it's just a place our characters can stand on. People were able to stand on platforms they normally weren't able to in Final Fantasy XI (such as "falling off" the airship), and I don't recall people getting super offended by the thought of it. People really need to set their priorities better...because there are far more things that could be focused on than stuff like this.
