Well which part of the world ARE you concerned with? Twiddle claimed there was a ramifications, well from where? From who? Twiddle said there would consequences, well what are they,?

Err your just as guilty to your own claims and or justification of the issue you can only speak maybe for the english forums not entire community and unoffical polls can be deceiving if only a small % of comments that participated. As to the from where and from who well that be other players that you easily assume they take your stances which both side of this issue cannot claim atm.

So you cannot name any country that would ban this game?Err your just as guilty to your own claims and or justification of the issue you can only speak maybe for the english forums not entire community and unoffical polls can be deceiving if only a small % of comments that participated. Or any people that would cause "significant problems" for SE and its subscriptions?
But you assume they exist, and have such pull over SEs fanbase that they would shy away from Leviathan's existence, ignore the Miner's guild. Not bat an eye at the swimsuits, but would crawl out of the woodwork over this?
My point is this: what is the source of your "negative consequences?" Its like this amorphous thing, what is it and why should we base the game lore around its mores?
What is your source of your "negative consequences" if SSM isn't implemented at all?So you cannot name any country that would ban this game?

Well, for NA players of this game, it seems the negative reaction would be about 506 people at the very least disappointed that they didn't implement it. Probably greater considering those who don't even visit the forums. I can't speak for the other regions, I think some people were keeping tabs on the Japanese thread.
Warlock, please try to state your opinions in a less hostile manner. You're free to post in this thread like anyone else but I'll ask that you keep things civil. Of course I would ask that of all here, including those particularly offended by what you've said. Everyone needs to calm down.
I only copy pasted Kallera's answer bcuz it has two sides, How am i the hostile one?Well, for NA players of this game, it seems the negative reaction would be about 506 people at the very least disappointed that they didn't implement it. Answer. My. Question.
What is the source of your "negative consequences?" What is it and why should we base the game lore around its mores?
Did you want to defend Twiddle's assertions or not?

I can ask you the same question to answer if was playable Iran, Egypt, for that matter they kill you. Your not an expert on other nations and nor am I so don't act like you have a grip on what can or cannot be ban in whatever country. Believe it or not and you and others might not like it there is company's that find traditional value important to them and they have a right to it same to other company's that have your set views. It not a matter of negative consequences maybe to them and I say maybe it a matter of there principle's something they hold dear to and if another company hold to your value same applies to you. Its about respecting both views something that human's have very hard time doing in this day and age <thanks media> is it fair no but that the world we live in with multiple views and beliefs. So you cannot name any country that would ban this game?

The country's that would murder its inhabitants over a non legal ceremony between avatars likely has bigger problems with its judicial system than video games. Even if a country was that loony, that's no reason to base the lore of Eorzea around the sensibilities of theocrats,
I haven't heard of anyone losing their life over a rpg game in the middle east. Leviathan has been quite a mainstay you know in the series.
