I worry that crafting (like most mmos) will be the back burner train. I suppose most people are used to it but it would be nice for a change lol

I worry about this too. I'm hopping for a system like XI Gods where they dropped Great Armour, but they also dropped Specials Items that unlocked Super Awesome Crafted Armour.

Of course I am also hoping for EG Crafting Material Drops and Gathering Locations.

I could get behind something like cursed gear and abjurations from NM's that also drop gear respectively. At the very least it'd give player's way to get good gear in multiple was that didn't involve melding or only dropped stuff.
