    You know, even if it is the GM's I guess they could still be considered deities in some form as far as the game is concerned. People with the superhuman and divine power to banish evil forces with ultimate say over our fate.

    I don't really see why this is a source of drama at all. It's a fantasy videogame with gods as an important part of the lore. Prayer makes sense for a game like this and whether you're religious or not, you're playing a game with it as a big theme.

    In addition, why is it beyond comprehension that the devs could have added code to make this happen? There was a patch that changed mob behavior after all.
