Okay we tried to prey all day. We had mobs that would not die. Finally someone came on and said prey on "Mob" at 9:20 game time and there we have it. We just kept killing everything they threw at us with the same guy giving us times to prey it was awesome and like an ah moment. So I read these posts and it wasn't clear must do at the same time and same mob.

In the videos Neasa posted, Bixie went down a shortly after 5:00, and Atomos fell shortly after 3:00. I wonder if there really is a correlation between time and prayer.

Well, when i first logged on tonight i tried praying, and only a couple other ppl were doing it with me. Didn't do anything. So i got tired of auto attacking and ran around to 5 or 6 of the stones, praying 10x at each. Went back to town, some Bixies popped and other ppl began praying so i started praying too, and they started dying.

So not sure if it's just cuz more ppl were praying or if it's cuz stones had been prayed at.

So read some of the thread... are people seriously taken in-game religion personally? I'm agnostic, but it IS just a game. I mean the story had us pray all over the damn world. Hey, believe what you will. In any case, just like in real life praying doesn't always "work."

True story, but the timing, and stars must be just right - if it doesnt happen you just were unlucky, if it does happen it was obviously the ritual :P.


Reminds me of the FFXI crafting stuff where you were told by some crafting on certain moons and certain days and certain directions did something to your crafts.

A large poll of data was made - no such thing was prove able XD (though with the RNG gods small sample sizes seemed to scream these methods..).
