Mutliple drops from events like Hamlet and having to work at materia and double meld for days, weeks or months (in some ppls situations) is ludicrous. It was ok for now with the devs having to be really focused on ARR but after launch I hope they make getting weapons a little more epic. I'm good with a long series of quests with timers, complicated puzzles and extreme challanges that dont have easy exploits left to linger for weeks on end. But these are legendary weapons are they not? Where is the story? A legendary weapon should be just that, not something crafted and upgraded by drops obtained from content like Hamlet. Same thing in xi tho so little chance of grand quest lines im sure. I'm not saying something that can be spammed by the most hardcore of hardcore for quick mega weapons.

The materia system should be left to upgrade normal gear. The legendary/mythic/relic gear in the game should still be dependant on questing, time, story and challange. Thats just my opinion. Be lucky Im not a dev, no one would have them yet haha
