I'm not choosing not to read anything. I read everything. I just don't look past the words to find a meaning that doesn't exist.

No, it describes the person who may have had to cancel because of financial reasons. that's the specific kind of person I was referring to. And that's why it was only "3 months" instead of "the whole time-" because it easily could have been.
