Its not about who deserves it more or less. Its about who did and who didnt care about FFXIV at that time and who did met the requirement, which were told long ago.
You missed it and many already told u theres no chance for u in this legacy campaign anymore.
Why are you unable to accept it?

Accept it or buy an legacy account on ebay.

I managed to get two legacy accounts. I don't even know why I did.

Nobody's being mean, we're just answering your question: no you can't get legacy because you missed the window of opportunity. It's done. If SE just hands out legacy accounts to everybody who asks for them it undermines the whole definition of the word "legacy". This was a one-off opportunity to thank people - it won't be making a comeback. Sorry you missed it, but if was truly your lifelong dream to have your name in the credits surely you would have acted faster.

Stop noobing around with "Anybody who missed a payment" or "paying full from January". -_-

If they wanted it to be that way they would have said it so.

It was obviously a campaign to eke more out of those thinking of quitting, and bringing those who left back, and not a honest full on reward to just those loyal.

If it was honestly a reward to just 100% paying loyal customers they wouldnt even announce it till the end, as that would have weeded any non 1000% faithfuls out through invisible measures which are a better test of faith then carrots on a stick. All they wanted was three months.

It was a marketing strategy under the guise of a loyalty campaign.

I think "eke" is the word you're looking for? xD

I think you're reading too far into it. I think the purpose was to retain players while they started charging the subscription fee, not to bring people who already quit back. The only reason the campaign wasn't more strict is because they didn't want to punish people who may have had reasons other than 'i don't like the game" why they couldn't pay the entire time.

I think you are choosing not to read anything of it. And your second part describes someone who isn't loyal to the bone, which is what a lot of people in this thread are trying to say it was for. (which most of my post was directed at).

3 months is all they wanted in loyalty time to be considered a part of legacy.
