    I'm saying that in a logical sense, some things I understand need time to get. Relics (minus the RNG parts of it) and leveling are two of the many that make sense.

    I'm talking about events in a game that only last a specified set of time like this one. Don't try and turn my statement on me. I know what I'm talking about and plenty of people will agree with me.

    I dont think relic should be easy - but the generic RNG timesink can gtfo.

    Some are lucky (get the seals 5 tries) and others just bought out the seals. Then you have the ones that have gone in multiples (into the hundreds) of everyone because of serious unlucky drops and randoms.

    Something more predictable for everyone would be appreciated.

    I can see what you're saying, but I'd prefer dealing with RNG than having to collect currency from a double alliance event

    I get that too :P, what I would like is for them to calculate how much work they want it to take - and then make it take that work ( or at least hard cap the maximum amount of drop failures ). Right now its all over the place.

    -Sounds- like this will be addressed in 2.0, but we've only had a small glimpse at what they are thinking of doing.

    Huh, the drop rate was so much better this time. If you get a party that understands when something is and isn't claimed, the hats drop much more quickly.

    well one tricorne did drop after killing 3 sets of magitek+imperials, so I dont know, I guess you just need people wanting to do it which seems less and less, and also being lucky that you dont get up having competing parties taking claim from your party.

    I will keep trying, got the operative hat, just need a tricorne...

    And to make it clear, I am not complaining about the low drop rate, it doesn't bother me if it is content that wont be gone in less than a month. I just think that a limited time event should be a little bit easier, that is all. Every event has been quite easy and accessible to every level/class. This one isn't at all.

    Primals are related to the umbral era and yet we know for a fact they persist.

    We also know that garleans will still be around in 2.0.

    Definitely that bolded part you have suggests against, but SE has set precedence for as well. (Nor does it make sense a hat that elite troopers wear would magically disappear from all ranks once a meteor hits... so.. :/)
