For the record, I'm not saying they WILL wipe date, because I know they aren't going to, I'm just saying that it defeats the purpose of "starting anew" and I could care less if people have more than me, because, there will always be someone better in every MMO you play. Also the market wards are a far cry from the effectiveness of an auction house. This thread is more directed towards "Balancing". So don't get all bent out of shape, 'tis only a statement.

Leveling up in gw2 is a lot more fun than ffxiv. Actually it's been the most enjoyable way to level that i have seen in an mmo so far. Go around exploring the world and leveling up at the same time. Not grinding the same mob or same style quest over and over.

Yea doing random questevents with dozens of people without communicating with anyone else. MMOs should encourage people to do things together - i don't want a Massively Multiplayer Online Single Player Role Play Game.

Tottaly agree, looks like playing events with npcs instead of others players characters.

simple fix just delete your character and make a new one.

if SE wiped 2 years worth of work that would of been the down fall.

They didn't wipe all previous player data for the launch and insisted on keeping the Market Wards.

Maybe you should go play on one of the perma-death servers.

And don't forget AV and CC with new look and mechanics (only the names would be the old).

im not to concerned about AV/CC even revamped been there / done that

Crystal Tower might not come on 2.0 launch which might leave us stranded with no (real) content for awhile

AV and CC are being run to death atm, everyone has full sets of DL rotting on their retainers..
