I don't think its necessary for me to repeat myself why, over and over, and over again when I explained it quite clearly why. So before I get a brain tumor I'll take my leave from the thread. But why should only veterans be able to select the newer classes? What's the point of locking them out to new players? Why should a new player have to play an older class for a while just to be able to pick the class they actually want to play? If a player wants to pick Arcanist as their first class in ARR, they should be able to.
If you want something that only advanced players can play as, we have Jobs. This is exactly what jobs are, advanced versions of classes that we have to work to unlock. There is no need for redundant extra steps to get new classes, when in reality new classes aren't any better or worse than the old ones.
