Maybe I havent ever had this opportunity long term* - but I feel the camera is doing that and not real life.

I doubt my eyes are doing something no one else has.

If you were really there she wouldn't be so bright like that. Your eyes will auto adjust and remove the glare.

So if you jump out of your dark house and look at someone in the sun maybe its bright like that- but then it dims down (and stays down).

Actually this talk made me stumble back into thinking of Valkrum Dunes from FFXI.

They should add the auto adjusting to the game - so the ghost like skin that temporarily shows and fades down as if your eyes are adjusting.

If we dont get that option I would prefer non ghosting skin though. Ghosting is only captured in super intense harsh lights that are too strong for your eyes or in cameras.

seems you are not outside that much ^^

this truly can happen in the bright sun, and when you are people are pale enough the sun can reflect like that.

FFXIV 2.0. is using the core of the luminous engine. its not exactly the same, but you can see that they are related to each other.. as the developer says in that video.

    here

"it uses the core of the luminous engine"

I could say the same about you XD. The bright sun effect is only temporary unless the sun is -extremely bright (then looking anywhere will hurt your eyes)- but you can tell the sun is not because you can look at the shadows in your screenshots and they are not super dark.

Read what I updated too please:

The in-game camera isn't our eyes either.

Best argument - but I would prefer it was like it.

Remember Valkrum Dunes? They did it just like our eyes would *it is still very bright, but it starts out REALLY bright lol.

Well maybe I'm teh special boy

All I can say is , yeah I've seen bright people like that for a second but then my eyes reduce contrast and I regain visual clarity. The only time that doesnt happen is when it is so bright and too many reflective surfaces, like sand.
