followed by good quotes for the other side, anyone that has taken a writing course particularly analytical writing, prereq at my uni. You learn to write a good persuasive paper you point out points for both sides while still promoting yours is better. In the end you don't come off as someone forcing their opinion down someones throat by blindsiding them with 1 sided bias in the first post. It makes you come of more reasonable because it shows that you took the time to read opposing viewpoints posts and let people come to there own conclusion.

On top of that your OP is now so long no one wants to read the rest of the thread because it feels like all the posts are in the original post with no context to the conversation being held on the page causing the post to be proffered to us the readers.

I agree with that, but the problem here is, that the other side is mostly people that are simply not interested, or people who propose the false dilemma of having to trade our good animations for bad in order for something else to be implemented.
