Really Xmbei?
A picture of a white knight is now... offensive?
You calling me a "prat" seems offensive, even though i don't really know what it is.
(after a short googling...)
Now i know. It is offensive, but i'm not really offended. I learned a new word.

well its as offensive as calling someone a prat. lol, now I am not all on top of some terms on the internet.... but since when has the term white knight, which has always been in historical/fantastical stories usually the hero and good guy, become a derogatory term to call people that defend something the like or appreciate? Is it now the cool to be controverisal and the rebel or the black knight in today's world... I am serious.... why has that become a derogatory term on the internet... because seriously my first created ls on FFXI was Sitania and I called us white knights because I veiwed it as a noble title... but now its a derogatory term.... to have honor on principles you uphold?

Well, its as wrong as referring to someone that cares enough about an issue that actively tries to change it, as a whiner. It's just things that we do on the interwebs, you can also think of them as first world problems. Imagine how small and insignificant our issues on animation on an online video game seem to a child in Uganda that struggles for a few drops of water everyday. The internet is something on its own, it may influence the real world but there is no point in "translating" it literally.well its as offensive as calling someone a prat. lol, now I am not all on top of some terms on the internet.... but since when has the term white knight, which has always been in historical/fantastical stories usually the hero and good guy, become a derogatory term to call people that defend something the like or appreciate? Anyway, i cleaned up the OP a bit, and i now look for quotes of the opposite view, (i really want to avoid the simple "i don't care" and false dilemma statements) so if you want to write something about it, please do.
