    Being generally careful around mobs brings a realism to the game. Speculating what mobs look aggro, or finding that something is and having to fight it at the spot is entertaining to me.

    Placing an indication that this particular monster is going to come after me if i go near it sounds ridiculous, and casual. I'm sorry its just how i feel.

    Not to mention the most of the mobs themselves used to give a fair warning before they agroed you, that was removed with Mob AI.

    yup that would be fun , but if you have to go from a pt A to a pt B and there is a lvl 90 monster , which the species only exist as 80 + lvls you are forced to stupidly die just to see if it aggro with sound or vision is just stupid .

    you are out of the subjet we are talking about dying to see if a new , high level only ennemy detect you with sound or vision

    not a monster that you could know it otherwise or a monster that you could killed as solo .

    So what do you expect a Malboro is going to do? These things are great for people who like to actually adventure in a game. The unknown can be a great tool to make the world feel much more deep.

    XI did it well, not too many people were suprised as to what something agrod to a few minutes after it was released, because people went and found that shit out.

    Giving credit where credit is due, FFXI wasn't the entity doing it well, the fansites and users who contributed to them were the ones who did all the work, the way I see options like this more about shifting the information's location, and hey, there's still the option to turn it off if you'd like to do it the old fashioned way.

    and that wasn't always a problem back in the day a LvL 50 Could Solo a Lvl 75 Mob easy.
