The monster A.I was shit. It's one of a long line of features that have been removed for the sake of "Gameplay"
Monster Behaviorial AI was one.
Not knowing is mobs were agressive until you actually found out was another.
Aggro Mechanics was another one as well.
They keep chipping away at what made the game unique, and plastering the "MMO standard mold" onto many aspects of the game.
Getting killed by monster just see how they aggro is not fun.
The monster taking 5 secs to attack was buggy at best cause even if you would stand still mobs like efts would still aggro you.
FFXIV had other problems that resulted in its original fail.
That doesn't mean they should destroy one of its best aspects in the process of making the game more popular, because the lack of that really good aspect could be the reason it will fail the second time around.
First it disappointed everyone, now it disappoints the loyal fans that keep playing / paying.
I don't know if this will end well for anyone.
oh it's a new monster let's get killed so we can know how he detect us !
How many WoW Killers/clones have you seen boasting an incredible playerbase? its not Foolish, its the inevitable truth.
what if, they have to DESTROYED it to bring better gaming experience??? I'm all for thatFFXIV had other problems that resulted in its original fail.
