Exactly. It just seems unprofessional to give information to one part of the playerbase while restricting it for others. And for those who say "we're quicker with translation anyway" I haven't seen any evidence of that - in fact most of the player translations I have seen have been pretty wrong - and caused a lot of confusion.

It would be way more even-handed for yoshi to write the post - send it to the translators and then post it for all languages at the same time.

Living in a bilingual country - I just expect that kind of equality when dealing with multi-lingual situations. For those who say "it's a Japanese game blah blah blah" then would you also support if they patched things in Japanese first and waited a few days before doing other language translations? No?

If you're going to have forums - treat all supported languages equally. It isn't actually a lot to ask. They are going to translate it anyway - why should JP readers get the news before we do?
