That's very true, I suppose Black Friday is only a couple of months away, I could probably score really big if I wait till then.being honest if your 250 is still running the game well right now i would offer one piece of advice. stay with it for just a bit and wait for a short time before upgrading. with the 600 series cards out the price on the 500 series cards will start dropping the closer we get to the holidays. i have the 580 cod factory overclocked edition and this card is a complete beast.
i guess it's more of why spend the amount now for a card when you could get a much better card for the same amount of cash in just a few months? if it's running fine now just hold off on the upgrade because the game will be going down soon for beta anyways and may as well get a better card for the same amount you will be spending now while it's down and be ready to put it to use once it comes back up.

that was my line of thinking. right now on your budget you could get a card now, but by then you could probably at least get one series higher of a card for the same amount. if nothing else you could get the name brand of the series of card you are looking at now for that price with a much better warranty.
for example for the nvidia series cards i would never own anything other than evga even though it's a little more expensive. after the 260 i originally had in my computer fried from doing folding and the manufacturer refused to honor the warranty i looked into it more. i went with evga and got it's optional return warranty. i went through 2 more cards in the few years that followed and whenever i burnt out one card i called them and they had the replacement shipped to me and i packed up the old card and sent it back in the same box. after that service i will never own another manufacturer on my cards.
