In regards to Jumping in 2.0/realm reborn

Honestly, the whole "people are going to be abusing jumping" argument is pointless. I'm pretty sure it won't be as rampant as people are making it out to be. Sure, you may get one or two people here or there that feel the need to jump up and down for a while, but it definitely won't be the "omg jump party at 5!" disaster that people are crying out about. Every other MMO has had that ability, and it was never a problem for them either.

The whole "realism" argument is moot as well. Final Fantasy is as distant from reality as can possibly be. I mean, fantasy (it's even in the game's title) pretty much means "the opposite of reality" or "not realistic." Yeah, the graphics are good, probably the best for any other MMO out there, but graphics do not equal realistic. I mean, the sky is literally falling in this game, for pete's sake.

no one is talking about realism, they are talking real as in real video game characters can jump, and jumping enhances our immersion in these games.

If you dont like it, theres a wide selection of other titles available, because you aint gonna change nothing.

I'll give you that I could have possibly might have somehow inadvertently kind of maybe misinterpreted the whole "realism" argument that people keep bringing up. but either way, it doesn't make any sense.

secondly, I'm not sure who your last sentence is directed to. I've never said that I didn't like anything, and I've never said that I'm trying to change anything. As a matter of fact, I'm looking forward to having jump in the game.

And again, I'll admit that maybe you weren't directing the last part towards me. I don't know.
