I'm amazed at how picky and overly critical people are about something is still a work in progress.
In any case, even when they are done I know there's still going to be people winning about the most miniscule things that might not even be an issue.

XIV is game that needs to be overly criticized and picked apart. They need all of the feed back they can get, whether it's feedback you agree with or not
People who like strategy and thinking ahead while additionally having a beautiful feast for the eyes better than fast-paced combat
Seriously, it's just a matter of preference. Stop insulting others' opinion just because it differs from yours.
How is it an awful example? There were glaring issues initially (pre alpha) for XIV such as EXP fatigue and other things, that everyone kept saying "It's pre alpha, they'll fix it!" then look what happened when the game was released.awful example. the two aren't even comparable as we haven't even had the opportunity to alpha test, much less beta. furthermore, people WERE very vocal about the numerous problems with the early builds of XIV- they were just ignored by the dev team and assured everything would be ready for launch.
People who adamantly defend things that are bad or wrong, hurt this game a lot more than some negative nancy who doesn't like the game.
should i link you to 7000 posts complaining about animation lock in primal battles? then should i explain to you why the animation lock is proving to be a problem for them?
the bottom line is- if you want to keep that, you value your pretty chatroom over a game world which actually works correctly; over a game world which allows developers to deliver content which actually works correctly.
i could get into which of us looks more ignorant by industry standards and back it up my position with numbers, but you seem to be the kind of guy who just wants to have his opinion one way or another and won't have his mind changed regardless. so what's the point?
Why do you HONESTLY have an issue with people airing grievances?
let me know how your strategy and thinking ahead is working out for you @ifrit extreme
Animation lock shouldn't be an excuse for garish and ugly animations (again, I don't personally have a problem with them on the video). TERA had terrible animation lock issues, and the animations were ugly in it.should i link you to 7000 posts complaining about animation lock in primal battles? then should i explain to you why the animation lock is proving to be a problem for them?
