The idea of switching up classes for a dungeon run or 24 man raid come 2.0...sounds cool! Kinda of sounds like TSW. Here is a warning to SE though. From what I read, some of the best gear is going to be coming from raid/instancing. Because people can be so diverse and switch up classes...everyone could roll on any said item.

Regarding the OP the only thing that really bothers me about this system is the distributing of loot. Who gets what? Will SE restrict class change once you enter an instance? I personally don't know that much about the looting in game now. Maybe one of you all can shed some light on my issue. But I hope that SE will rewards everyone for completing a raid run. Be it by credit(seals), gear, gil or crafting items.

It's been like that in FFXI too. Since everyone can be everything, everyone can loot everything. Then the players comed with some systems to prevent abusing, like a tier list of jobs you mostly use/like, and then you get a priority on that classes. Something like that will come here too.
in pugs it's a different story. Maybe we'll keep the current system "choose an item, and you'll loot only that"
