    Howcome weapon straps were removed from the game?

    I remember them being pretty cool when they first were released, then i stopped playing and recently returned; what gives?

    As far as I'm aware straps in Final Fantasy XIV are crafting components unlike their counter-parts in Final Fantasty XI which you could equip in the off-hand slot for additional stats

    i think you mean the parts to craft a weapon. They been removed to simplify crafting, since crafting war a chinese box with all that damn parts

    IIRC back in 2010 straps were equiped in the 2nd hand slot for 2H weapons

    I'm sure there was always only throwing weapons.
