    So firing off weaponskills right when combat starts including only having to spend "about" 20 seconds per mob... That seems like overkill to me. What happened to that forum poll where the majority wanted longer battles? I know that the forums don't represent the whole community but I mean come on... It's a pretty good outlook. Tired of everything being a spamfest in this game besides bosses.

    only if tp is back to full after each battle....Did we see the tp regenerated on the gameplay video?

    See I interpreted that as about 20 seconds per enemy which can add up to a while in some larger group fights, unlike now where groups of normal enemies go down in about 5 seconds.

    There should be an Global Cooldown in all skills, which only affects your skills and has nothing to do with your characters inability to move.


    Locking your character in place during an ability is one of the worst ways to foster an interesting and dynamic combat environment.

    I would say letting a character move all over the place when their supposed to be doing an ability isn't the greatest either. Having the legs nearly sideways running while your arms are "thrusting" your spear as if you could have any strength behind it is treading towards lame.

    I agree that being so locked into a long animation isn't great when we look at many current AOE boss abilities. But i sure hope theres a middle groun they can find between the two extremes.

    WHen my Character initiates and action, i DO approve of them actually having to Follow through with it. We see a fair choice for Magic users. Cast bar. Wait and it happens, move early and it doesn't. If we're discussing something akin to that for Melee skills when i'm with ya.

    If we're discussing Hit button for skill, while holding move button, and both get to happen at nearly the same time, then i decline. I'm not a fan of that style of control. Not to mention i think visually, it looks stupid. I like my skill use to carry some risk too. AKA, i decided to use it, so i hope i picked a good time.

    Some extra visual warns from a boss pre AOE move would also be helpful. No warning to skill use from a boss should be shorter then the longest amount of time you'd be stuck using a skill.

    I dunno if we can freely move but from the look of the video you are locked in place for a LOT less time than you currently are, coupled with the position lag being fixed it should be a lot more intuitive to avoid attacks.

    This would be great too just cause depending on how close you are to a larger enemy it's tough to see exactly what stance they are doing and having to watch the chat log is dumb. They said a while back that there would be some sort of indication of what move an enemy is doing. I'm guessing probably a popup at the top of the screen showing the name of the attack being prepared like in previous games.

    YES This is what i was waiting for!... Much Faster BS, but still not action. I love the idea of having full tp from the starting of the battle (so the video wasn't in "god mode")

    This is cool and all, but this might be really bad for pvp.

    i thought combat was fast enough as is. this will make it harder to tank things if everyone is pounding out high dmg from the start, yes? if ppl aren't doing that then i don't see what the point of starting with tp is. or do they just want stuff to die so fast that no real tank is needed -_-
