    "The current battle system that we have right now is based on TP and the TP fills as you fight.

    YES This is what i was waiting for!... Much Faster BS, but still not action. I love the idea of having full tp from the starting of the battle (so the video wasn't in "god mode")

    Well, not necessarily, it all depends on the rate the TP Regenerates itself ( Assuming you don't get TP anymore per hit), it could be like a Weaponskill Fatigue sort of deal. It depends how they take it.

    I'm sorry to say this, but i hope so.

    No more zZzZz gameplay for grannies :P

    We are in the action era. And FFXIV is supposed to claim a lot more player than us on the forum.
    And to do that, the BS need to be fresh and new to appeal those players.

    Could also be that TP regenerates, but the full bar is only for longer pauses in between fights instead of say.... a spiritbinding meatgrinder.

    ok that is just BS unless they make DRG have faster TP regeneration. . . why? cuz atm he has Invigorate,Store TP Trait, A relic that has Store TP so why make it regenrate instead of Per hit?

    I'm very glad they decided to go with this method of TP gain. This will likely even out the burst capabilities of melee DD and BLMs for front loaded damage.

    Let's see how it plays out

    SE will probably keep DRG with increased TP regen so you can still use more WS than usual.

    I like having TP right off the bat. Let melees get in on the BLM front loaded damage, maybe they won't get ignored over throwing BLM at everything now.

    I don't like what I saw of combat in the video though, goofy WoW/Aion/every other MMO ever backpedal while fighting (they couldn't have just made you run in that direction? Did they get rid of analog control or something?) and spammable skills means that while it'll be nicer for melees it might become just another "set rotation" type of game. I thought the directional combos were a good idea, and they'd actually work fully now that the lag and animation lock is gone.
