    I would have to agree with you on the fact that WoW is progression based. I really do not know what "End Game" is in Final Fantasy XIV yet.

    Luck pretty much. It is really hard to distinguish elite vs. non-elite simply because anyone who is lucky in a dungeon can obtain the gear. Garuda was a step in the right direction. I don't know why SE couldn't implement a token system like Garuda for dungeons or other primals. You can make the token worth to the extent that it would take months to obtain a full set if not lucky. At least we wouldn't feel like we are wasting our time each round. I always believe that someone should walk out happy with something each round for their time. WoW does this with Valor Points.
