    How can such horrid primal drop rates even exist?

    After all the changes and promises made by the developers team, I still maintain an air of skepticism. Taking into account some very... peculiar design choices that have been implanted, none are more infuriating than the primal drop system. How such an unfair and moronic system ever came to pass is completely beyond my understanding and it makes me question the integrity of the current team.

    As it stands, a player can complete Ifrit or Moogle hundreds of times and see nothing more than Dark Matter or the more insulting Vampire Plant drop. However, a new player can just waltz into a primal fight and in less than fifty runs get his weapon collection completed! I am not even resorting to hyperbole, the provided example is one that is sadly far to real. How, in a group of perfectly sane people, could such a system be developed? How can they so recklessly disregard the effort, the time, the commitment a player dedicates and spit all over it?

    As if to rub salt on the wound, Garuda is then released, bearing with her still ridiculously low drop rates but at least acknowledging effort and time invested. After a certain amount of runs, no matter how outlandish the number may seem, you get a weapon. But what about the other primals? Are we to act like dogs, ever searching for that illusive bone that we may never even see? I do not care that Naoki Yoshida said they're "fixing" this problem come 2.0. The fact that it even exists is appalling and I'm paying for 1.0. I'm paying for current enjoyment, not for what might be. It does not help the fact that the current weapons will disappear come A Real Reborn. They're removing equipment from the game and not even giving you a viable way to acquire it!

    I also do not care if this is the umpteenth time you've seen this subject brought up. It has obviously not been enough time in the spotlight or else the backlash would have made the developers at least consider tweaking this retarded system. No, rather, I open the front page and see lectures about extremely important subjects, like the horror and unfairness of not getting swimsuits this summer festival or extrapolations about A Real Reborn interviews and doomsday shouts among other useless topics.

    In spite of it all, I still enjoy this game. However, this mechanic, this insulting drop system has made me more bitter than I would ever care to be. I know nothing will be done with 2.0 so close. I know the moderators or developers don't even care about the plea of a single person. I simply must say I have lost what little faith or hope I might have had. Feel free to let my post be drowned among the myriad of threads and let's hope 2.0 isn't marred by the same idiotic decisions. Thank you if you made it this far and put up with my rant.

    +/-20 wins = 1 weapon with totems = progression.

    The drop rates suck now because they are the carrot on a stick keeping a lot of people playing, if they suck in 2.0.. well that will continue to suck

    Agreed, im suprised you make no comment on Damm near everything else needs a party of 8 & you only get 1 reward for a 30min/1hour thing with 8 of you, which means 8 hours (if you win everytime) so each player has a drop which is also ridiculous, if theres party content then there needs to be Party drops.
    1 or 2 isnt party drops its solo drops & theres a complete lack of solo in this game, but 4+ is party drops even if the stuff is complete crap its still better than anything we are getting/aren't getting
    & i doubt anyone conciders Dark matter a drop (with the exception of leves & hamlet where its kinda balanced) because you get that free gathering.
