I'd settle for worse drop rates if I could get to win #10+ @ Garuda.

Ifrit and Moogle weapons aren't even that good anymore anyway. Grand Company Sergeant and Lieutenant weapons as well as the Giantsgall weapons are comparable or faaaar better and you don't have to put up with the drop rates.
Hehe, I could choose what I want in FFXI avatar battles, so their planning team is fine -- The issue is they had to stretch out and make this content last, with the spam nature of XIV's content people should expect low drop rate. We know they're changing in 2.0 so it's a bit odd to say it's foreshadowing 2.0's systems when we don't even know how it'll work.
Because of the community. Derp.
Everybody here is to blame.
What do you think comes with nearly non-existant re-entry timers?
Ifrit Mog = Easy + Bad Drop Rate = PPl complaint drop rate
Garuda = Hard + Good Drop Rate(at least u get 5% closer each win) = Ppl complaint too hard
What u want?
East + Good Drop Rate = go Skirmish

Easy + High Drop Rate:
Beat Level 5 Dodo, get all equipment at once.
The problem is we have diatmetrically opposed schools of thought on how the myriad of systems should be implemented.
I totally agree with this. Totem and Nut should be 100% at least. The random drop of a weapon is fine and is a nice surprise for players from time to time. But doing 40+ runs and still not having enough nuts/totems to get a weapon like has happened to some people is just wrong.
This thread is the definition of the saying "beating a dead horse." We are what... 2-3 months away from end of 1.0 so why the hell are you complaining? Get over yourself and either put up with the current game or quit until 2.0. There are plenty of people, myself included, who enjoy the current game and don't mind the drop rates. Even the tiniest amount of logical thinking would point you to why the drop rates are low and I'd rather have something to do than having all the items in the game in two weeks.
I really wish I could understand the mindset of people who pay for something and think that entitles them to dictate how that company should run things. You are supporting the creators by paying for what they are distributing and by doing so, reinforcing their actions. If you don't like what they are creating, then fucking stop paying for it and find something that appeases you. Voice your opinion, sure, but ranting about a core mechanic that has already been addressed is just wasting time.

well im not playing that much. especially on raids.. i just do it more for fun..
about 20 moogle wins.. and no weapon or even a nut... just dark matter
totally agree, the droprates are beyond garbage.
i've tried, tried & kept trying..and still nothing.
it got boring long time ago & extremly frustrating.
My motivation for doing these are like... -200.
Reason: it havent been rewarding at all...
no ifrit weapon at all...and he was implemented a Long time ago.
It would be really REALLY nice of SE before 2.0 beta kicks in, to increase droprate a few
notches for those of us that are still unrewarded from all these "Wasted" primal fights.
(but...i'll doubt that will happen)
hell, i'd even settle for a FFXIV Mog Bonanza at this point.
