Is version 2.0 really coming out before 1-1-13

He's saying open beta in jan there, how is that pushed back? it's exactly what I said ? december/jan.

Open beta is pretty much 2.0 live, even if we have fresh chars for 2.0 it'll still be fun to play, then when beta is over we get our old chars back, oooor we start with our current chars in open beta. Either way it's not that long a wait at all.

They're gonna be shooting for an xmas launch / beta release imo, its a time for huge booms in sales and exposure due to everyone being on holiday and giving gifts.

You said "Considering the 'free trial period' for 2.0 is meant to be in december/jan." To me "Free Trial Period for 2.0" implies the actual launch of 2.0, not the beta, and then you linked that page with the old dates on it.

How do you expect them to 2.0 at Christmas when he's made an official statement that the open beta isn't even coming out until jan?
