I'm sorry but after 1.19 They have been on*time. 1.18 and Below they were getting the hang of the ropes and the feeling of the game itself. If you got thrown into a very broken game and you had to fix it all along while of getting 2.0 Ready Would "you" be able to get things out "on-time". and if they didn't give a time frame people will still have a heart-attack over it....

Starlord, look at your Calendar. Summer Began officially June 21st, we're now @ Aug 6th, new info regarding 2.0 = What? Did I miss it? Am I Blind?!
They said all Summer long, even 1 Screenshot a week woulda kept to this instead we've been in 6weeks of silence and seemingly ignorance.

And I wont even get started on the road map Yoshi-P gave us, don't get me wrong I dont expect him to keep to the timeline, as realistically that would be dumb, however, ignoring the playerbase without so much as a "We're slightly delayed but are working hard on (Insert something) Here's a few pics for you to get excited about" or something similar. No we are left with pure Tanaka style silence and ignorance.

Before anyone QQ's I'm not slating Yoshi-P and what hes done for the game, but C'mon how hard is it to keep us informed on whats going on instead of leaving us in the dark?!

He Already told us that we get the " Flood" At Gamescom This " All Summer long" thing came from a Rep not from Yoshi-P. You get your "Information" Next Week. If you don't get your infomation then then you can QQ like a baby all you want.

Edit: also The New Website that Launched on the 26th has A Trailer and Quite a few Information that I didn't know about, and New Ul'dah Concept Art.. that's News to me. and this First Emperor Dude, Def new.

But imagine if you dont like 2.0, then ... well basically they just killed your character. All MMOs come to an end eventually, but most people wouldn't play them if the developers effectively deleted your characters every 3 months, or deleted the game entirely.

If you don't like 2.0 you simply don't like it and won't play it -- SE didn't kill anything. You're paying to play now because you want to, you're not obliged to.

you're paying just to use the forums, if your characters are anything to judge by (so youre not exactly one to talk).

Anyways, the point is players will play MMOs with the promise of some degree of longevity. If the developers decide to make a huge upheaval of the gameworld, and not explain what theyre changing, then it's sort of rude. Theyre probably allowed too, sure. It's just shady, that's all.
