Do you think Square will be as secretive as they were in beta for v1?

Do you think that will only be for the first few beta's and then maybe allow coverage when it comes to open beta? Or simply keep a lid on it until v2 launches?

I would hope they wouldn't lock all of their info for display...I mean, getting interest in the game should be one of the top priorities. And I notice when big-time youtubers cover mmo's in beta, it helps with hype.

I apologize if this has been covered. If it has, I'll more than willingly accept a lock and redirection to the thread that contains this information.

Given all of the scepticism surrounding this game,
i think that only real gameplay from real players ... the beta ... can save it.
The more fan videos and reaction, the better.
So i hope it's not secretive, but even in the original beta, plenty of vids leaked anyway.

Well, one of the main reasons I'm asking is because IF I am able to play beta, I would like to make a few videos. But I do not wish to break TOS...I'm sure if it's not allowed, beta players will be informed...I'm just very curious XD

School has started back up in the states. that means for most, Summer is over, if not the actual season then the feeling of it.

Summer seems to have a lot of meaning to it, It will come when it comes ( which is Gamescom).. People need to stop stressing of this -.-. " All Summer long" "Coming in August" Whatever, I only listen to what comes out of Yoshida's Mouth ( Which is coming in August/Gamescom). We know they are showing off Gameplay there..that along would be enough information, But I know its going to be way more than that.

"All Summer Long" came from Yoshida, the reps just relayed that message. In hindsight if you look at what we got from E3 to now, it's basically being pushed out "all summer long" -- however I think most people harbor an issue with the fact SE is waiting to give everyone what they want -- solid information at a steady pace.
