As far as writing goes no they're not Eurogamer nor Edge but the sheer volume of readers they have is completely unparalled.
Let's not get sidetracked here since IGN is definitely not the only place that doesn't know what 2.0 is.

I hope SE's marketing is already reacting to how majority of the press responded to the trailer and acting on it.

In fact they sort of already are since gamescon will show gameplay and isn't that what everybody wanted?!

Now the ball is in dev teams court and we will see if the new game speaks for itself or not.
