What can SE do to make FFXIV "Noticed"?

Why did you have to do this? The last thing we need is a bunch of armchair advertising experts. Do we really need to feed the egos of countless gamers who think they can run a game from their gaming chair? SE knows what they're doing better than anyone else here. What can a horde of clueless and ignorant gamers really contribute to this discussion? Not a lot, so why make this thread. It's just a avenue for SE bashing by a bunch who think they have a clue. SE has tons of experts in their fields (ie of advertising) that know the ins and outs of markets, costs, and efficiency. Yet here you are, asking the common rabble about that which they do not understand. Why Starlord, why?

I do it because I care. This Game is Dead to a lot of people, and all I want is people to give their Ideas on how to counter this mess. SE know what they are doing, so they won't use something that they know won't work.. but the people that give logical responses they can take into consideration if they wanted to.

And if SE knew what they were doing.. then FFXIV Original Launch wouldn't have been a disaster then.

I'm sorry but if a gamer can think up of these ideas in a few minutes, wouldn't it be reasonable to assume that analysts and advertising experts have already pitched these ideas. We're talking about people who get paid to live, breathe, and sleep advertising. This is their living. They've been doing it for generations of past final fantasy titles. I don't think there is a single idea a noob can come up with that hasn't already been considered. There is, quite literally, nothing the ignorant can contribute. We are talking about professionals here, not some indie gaming company. People need to have some respect.

I give you Final Fantasy 6-XII. How much is SE worth again? Whats that? 138billion? I think they know what they are doing. Making a mistake doesn't make you clueless, it makes it a mistake. None of that gets to me. But you basically started an SE bashfest where everyone can talk about how SE never has a clue what they're doing. It produces nothing even remotely constructive. Worry all you want, but asking the community what SE should do is like me asking the blind and deaf for directions to the nearest hotel. You are asking the wrong people.

Because we all love a good troll on the forums. but since you asked for my expert and undeniable Professional Game chair salesman advise well i'll just have to give it. Word of mouth and Individual Enjoyability sales more copies of games than any amount of washed out review sites and there you have it. now now you don't have to praise me for my godlike advertisement ability's, its just what i do when im not setting in my chair bitching or trolling ;}
