    Dude... OP made a simple suggestion that wouldnt hurt the jump lovers and spammers, its simply for ppl that arent realy fond with, we can filter alot of stuff, why not jump?
    Simple thread into a clusterfck...

    It does hurt them. They want jump they want to enjoy it and they want others to see them enjoying it. For a community that loves to throw around "GIVE US OPTIONS! GIVE US CHOICES!" a lot of people sure are hypocrites lol.

    It's funny too..

    "How does me jumping hurt you or your gameplay?"

    Likewise, how does someone filtering the animation hurts you or your gameplay? This is the only reason it's an issue at all, because people hate letting others have options when it's against something they like. This is why threads like this turns into a clusterfuck lol.

    Person who doesn't want to see it as a choice: "Can I have jump filter?"
    Person who wants jump: "NO GTFO CLOSED MINDED PEON."
    Person 1: "Why..? It doesn't affect you..."
    Person 2: "YES IT DOES BECAUSE EVEN THOUGH I WANTED THE CHOICE TO JUMP ILL BE DAMNED IF SE LETS YOU HAVE A CHOICE NOT TO SEE ME JUMP!"

    Then cue the thread clusterfuck of "no you'.

    Read this thread..it's basically only 2 categories. The "third" category is the ones who says it will be a "waste of resources" even though only SE knows what is and isn't a waste.

    Based on the examples given I treated it as no combat application- not necessarily no other application.

    Animation filters are easy to do, even junkshop MMOs have animation filters.
    It's not just an animation. You need to ignore the fact that the player is *IN THE AIR*. In other words, you need the server or your client to lie about the player's location.

    Anyway, one thing i'm really tired of is the argument of how easy or hard something is to implement. Unless you've made your own game yourself and you've done these things yourself, you can not comment on how hard or easy <insert feature here> is to implement.

    If it's implemented "Just for the people that want to jump." and "Will have no application in game play." then there's no reason your character would actually be leaving the ground at which point well we've already got that emote now it'll just be on a button.

    I don't remember what the OP said as to "IF" it is implemented with function and I'm not going to read it, I know that I said if it's a functional jump then by all means make me watch it. I'm going to now change that slightly, let me filter jumping in towns where the only practical application is none. Unless we're talking about glitch hunting and then well idc if you found your way into the wall.


    On another note, dude when are you on, I haven't seen you more than 4 mins since the day we exchanged shells.
