Really guess what the groups I run with still dont use a PLD to tank in av or cc. WAR can still tank, and until SE fixes PLD you wont see many groups useing it for speed runs. Nerfing other jobs is the only way SE has been trying to fix PLD as well as adding a few buffs here and there. SE cant seem to learn from its mistakes and this will continue until they do. If players want a PLD tank than they need to tell SE to fix PLD w/o nerfing other jobs ie : WAR!!

Why make a topic saying you having hard issue tanking a boss. Then everyone say they tanking it fine you do this and that and then this then follow by "i know how to tank" then if you know what are you having such hard time and other are not?

Ontopic the only issue i see is monk does a lot more dmg tell your monks not to go all out and your be fine.

Anyone on WAR having a tough time keeping hate from MNK's on Miser? I have over 100+ Enimity gear and use maddening potions. On top of that, I use collusion at beginning of fight with a Firaga and collusion monks whenever I see them do a WS....

Which limits us to one tank. One tank out of the plethora of jobs in the FF IP is a bad idea. Figured we'd have learned this from FFXI...

Anyways to whoever has an issue tanking Miser's:

BE A PALADIN!

And this.

While everyone is gathered after buffs do:

Sentinel -> Flash -> Rampart (has to hit everyone in the PT) -> Provoke -> Aegis ->
War Drum -> Spirits Within Combo -> then just spam Flat Blade/Gorging Blade combos,
then -> Divine Vail -> Outmaneuver and redo all of the above in sequence.
If u have some ENM+ gear and some Maddening Potions you should be fine... just fine.

Don't forget that u can AoE heal aswell all of ur Monks with Sacred Prism
and get some hate from that too.
Also u can use a macro for skills like Rampart and Sentinel to notify u when
they are available again by typing an error message:

/ac "Rampart" <me>
/wait 45
/wait 45

^ This will pop in ur battle chat if u have the filter of the error messages to "on"
in the chat log options. (i am proud of myself for comming up with this)
